Virgillia 7
Virgillia 7 was a planet located within the Virgillia system of the Outer Rim Territories.
History
It was a tiny colony world that was considered "remote" by the Galactic Empire. It had been a hotbed of Virgillian Free Alignment resistance against the Imperial-aligned Aristocracy[2] since the beginning of the Virgillian Civil War in 25 BBY.[3] During the Imperial era, the resistance forces were led by the parents of Tessa Manchisco, until Imperial forces raided the Manchisco home and summarily executed them, leaving Tessa to flee and hide in the homes of other resistance members.[2]
In 23 BBY, a Jedi diplomatic envoy was sent to conduct peace talks in the hope of ending the civil war, but their transport was attacked on arrival and all four Jedi were believed[4] killed.[3] Early in the Clone Wars, it was the site of a mission.[4]
