Dune Walker
The Dune Walker was a modified version of the All Terrain Armored Transport used by the Galactic Empire. It was specifically designed to serve on planets with hot climates.
Characteristics
All Terrain Armored Transports were often modified to be more effective in certain missions. For this purpose, the Galactic Empire equipped them with special components for specific environments.[3]
The Dune Walker was one such variant which was adapted for hot climates. This desert terrain walker was modified by replacing its tertiary weapons systems with additional Sienar z23 heat dissipation units.[2] These modifications allowed the Dune Walker to perform long marches on hot worlds.[3]
Behind the scenes
The Dune Walker was created for the Special Edition Limited set of the Star Wars Customizable Card Game, which was released on November of 1998.[2]
