An artillery battery was a formation of the Imperial Army.
Organization
It was comprised of four artillery lines, and totalled one hundred and fifty-two soldiers, twenty-three support personnel, and seventy droids. Depending on the configuration of the individual artillery lines, the battery could field either sixteen heavy or medium artillery tubes, or thirty-two light artillery pieces.[1]
Artillery batteries could be augmented by two assault platoons and two additional artillery lines.[2]
