Artillery line

An artillery line was a formation of the Imperial Army.

Organization

Artillery lines comprised four artillery sections totalling thirty-eight men. Artillery lines were either equipped with four heavy or medium artillery tubes, or eight light artillery tubes. Artillery lines could be augmented by the addition of two more artillery sections, a line squad, and a heavy weapons squad.
