Artillery line
An artillery line was a formation of the Imperial Army.
Organization
Artillery lines comprised four artillery sections totalling thirty-eight men. Artillery lines were either equipped with four heavy or medium artillery tubes, or eight light artillery tubes.[1] Artillery lines could be augmented by the addition of two more artillery sections, a line squad, and a heavy weapons squad.[2]
