Approximately two [[Standard week/Legends|weeks]] after the [[Battle of Endor/Legends|Battle of Endor]], [[Rogue Squadron/Legends|Rogue Squadron]] engaged in a '''skirmish''' above a luminous lake with [[TIE Series]] [[Starfighter/Legends|starfighters]] of the [[Galactic Empire/Legends|Galactic Empire]].<ref name="Lucky">{{Tales|23|Lucky (comic)|Lucky}}</ref> The Rogues were flying for the [[Alliance of Free Planets]],<ref name="The Forgotten War">{{Hyperspace|url=fans/hyperspace/source/nagai11202009/index.html|text=The Forgotten War: The Nagai and the Tofs|int=The Forgotten War: The Nagai and the Tofs}}</ref> which had been declared by the [[Alliance to Restore the Republic/Legends|Rebel Alliance]] just after [[Endor/Legends|Endor]].<ref name="The Truce at Bakura Sourcebook">''[[The Truce at Bakura Sourcebook]]</ref> In a dark night sky, [[Rogue Leader/Legends|Rogue Leader]] [[Wedge Antilles/Legends|Wedge Antilles]] clipped a TIE, which shorted out the [[Engine/Legends|engines]] and instruments of his [[T-65 X-wing starfighter/Legends|X-wing fighter]] and forced him into a crash landing. The pitch blackness of the night worried him, but luckily, luminous [[Fish/Legends|fish]] guided him to a lake below. The rest of the Rogues took care of the remaining TIE contingent, and  a [[BTL Y-wing starfighter/Legends|Y-wing]] rescued Antilles and brought him to a waiting [[EF76 Nebulon-B escort frigate/Legends|EF76 Nebulon-B escort frigate]], where his fellow pilots ribbed him about his perennial luck. The incident was bittersweet for Antilles, however, as he ended up reflecting on a [[Time/Legends|time]] in his life when he had not felt so lucky&mdash;the [[Death/Legends|death]] of his youthful girlfriend [[Mala Tinero|Mala]].<ref name="Lucky" />
