Turkana was a sparsely populated[3] planet located within the Turkana system near the Pakuuni sector of the Outer Rim Territories.
History
It was the homeworld of Koffi Arana. For some time before the Battle of Yavin, a Rebel fleet had its base there. It was here, during the Battle of Turkana, that the T-65 X-wing starfighter debuted in its' first major military role, surprising the Imperials who assaulted the fleet.
