Til
Til was a star located in the Til system,[2] deep within the Unknown Regions. It was orbited by the technologically advanced world Tililix, which was the homeworld of the sentient Tarro species. Nearly a century before the Battle of Yavin, Til exploded with little warning, destroying Tililix in the process.[1]
Only those Tarro who were off-world at the time survived the cataclysm, with the remaining members of the[2] nearly-extinct[1] species numbering merely 350 individuals.[2] Those Tarro who lived in other star systems speculated that the destruction of Til could have been caused by a[1] secret[2] Tarro-constructed superweapon.[1]
Behind the scenes
Til was created by C. Robert Carey and introduced in Galaxy Guide 12: Aliens — Enemies and Allies, a 1995 sourcebook for use with West End Games' Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game.[2]
