The Slug Named Grendel (short story)

The Slug Named Grendel is a short narrative story published in The Star Wars Sourcebook in 1987. It is an in-universe excerpt from the opening of eponymous work of fiction. It was reprinted in the second edition of the book in 1994.

Plot summary

In an excerpt from The Slug Named Grendel, Sosakar recounts the story of Flandon Sweeg, captain of the Darkfire, who sought to kill the mighty exogorth Grendel.
