Tala 1
Manufactured by Alliance to Restore the Republic tactician Adar Tallon,[2] Tala 1 was a Z-95t Headhunter produced during the Galactic Civil War fought by the Alliance against the Galactic Empire.[1] As with all other Z-95t Headhunters, Tala 1 had a class 3 hyperdrive,[3] which was added to allow the starfighter to allow it to operate independently of capital ship support.[1] In addition to the class 3 hyperdrive, the Z-95t Headhunter model also had increased maneuverability compared to the Z-95 Headhunter,[5] and Tala 1 was individually a heavily modified Headhunter.[1]
By 4 ABY,[6] Tala 1 was serving in the Alliance's Tala Squadron. Operationally assigned to support Alliance Special Forces commandos led by Crix Madine,[1] an Alliance general,[7] Tala 1 was piloted by Colonel Airen Cracken, an Alliance spy and scout. Cracken often flew support missions for Madine's commando team.[4]

Tala 1 was created in 2000 for the Death Star II Limited expansion set of Decipher, Inc.'s Star Wars Customizable Card Game.[1]
