T-SP
T-SP was a Utility Tug in use by a Rebel Alliance outpost during the Galactic Civil War within an Imperial simulation. During an Imperial torpedo attack by Alpha Squadron TIE Bombers, T-SP attempted to board one of the Class-A cargo containers along with fellow Utility Tug T-ST. However, while trying to board the containers, the two utility tugs were destroyed along with the rest of the outpost's complement.[1]
The simulation was featured in the Imperial combat training simulator, where TIE Bomber pilots could test their skills with the torpedo warhead.[1] T-SP had a hull with a 5 RU rating, gray plating and yellow-and-black stripes. It had a speed of 10 MGLT,[1] and was crewed by a single pilot.[2]
Behind the scenes
T-ST first appeared in Star Wars: TIE Fighter, a 1994 video game developed by Totally Games. The ship is featured in the third combat chamber mission of the TIE Bomber, titled "Torpedo Run," during which a squadron of TIE Bombers is assigned to attack a small outpost operated by the Rebel Alliance. Optionally, the player could inspect T-SP to achieve a bonus goal.[1]
