The title of this article is conjectural.

Although this article is based on official information from the Star Wars Legends continuity, the actual name of this subject is pure conjecture.

"Storm Unit" was likely the name of a squad of Rebel Alliance boarding troopers during the Galactic Civil War.

The "Storm Unit" was called upon numerous times during the war to board enemy vessels and installations, their mission profiles included: stealing information; planting explosives; rescuing prisoners and capturing certain facilities.

"Storm Unit" would also appear to have been made up of different squads. One such squad was commanded by Lieutenant Paling, who led the Nighthawks.

Some of their high profile missions included:

Recovering important information from the Imperial CR90 corvette Talon
Rescuing prisoners of war from Imperial prisoner Dreadnaught VTR-LX
Stealing data from an Imperial factory producing starfighters for the TIE Experimental Project, then destroying the facility
Defusing a bomb planted on the Azzameen Station.
