Sabotage of an Imperial hydrocarbon refinery
During the Galactic Civil War, a team of Alliance to Restore the Republic advisors, alongside the native Sessehshellah, sabotaged an Imperial hydrocarbon refinery on the planet Shaymore. After sabotaging an Imperial power station on the planet, and capturing a comm unit scrambler, the Alliance and Sessehshellah learned that the hydrocarbon operation on Shaymore had to increase production ten-fold within the following year or be shut down. In addition, the reserves held at the refinery were a significant portion of the Empire's supplies.[1]
The Alliance team and Sessehshellah approached the facility by raft, allowing members of the team dressed as Imperial troops to charge across the boat dock and bluff their way past the guards. While this was happening, the Sessehshellah dove into the drainage ditches to plant explosive charges on the drainage valves for the storage tanks. During the battle, the Alliance operatives appeared to be cut off until rescued by a large number of Sessehshellah storming the compound and attacking the Imperial forces.[1]
The Alliance and Sessehshellah forces fought their way to the boat dock and commandeered a cruiser. As they sped away from the facility, it exploded as the demoliton charges were detonated. Imperial forces gave chase in armored landspeeders, forcing the Alliance and Sessehshellah forces to abandoned their craft in the marshes. Imperial forces called in reinforcements, which arrived by landcruiser, only to be ambushed in the marshes by the Alliance and Sessehshellah.[1]
With the refinery destroyed, the Empire abandoned its hydrocarbon operations on the planet, with the commander being recalled in disgrace. The Sessehshellah regained control of their world in the aftermath.[1]
