Although this article is based on official information from the Star Wars Legends continuity, the actual name of this subject is pure conjecture.

Late in 8 ABY, the Imperial I-class Star Destroyer Stormhawk executed a hit-and-fade attack on the planet Saarn, wiping out New Republic personnel. The Stormhawk acted on the orders of Grand Admiral Thrawn, who studied the New Republic's reaction to his recent attacks on the Borderland Regions in order to determine their reaction patterns, and the Empire of the Hand set up a listening post on Saarn.
