A power-flux regulator was a simple piece of technology that could be found in several machines, such as droids and vehicle ignition systems. Using a power-flux regulator in conjunction with a power condenser, allowed a DataSearch Engine 9C to search systems for low-level encrypted files without destroying the information it was searching. Power-flux regulators and power condensers could not be used in conjunction with the DataSearch Engine 12C-A.[1]
