The pacification of Hyrol Preen Beta was an event[1] that resulted in the destruction of the planet Hyrol Preen Beta by the Galactic Empire.[2] According to the spacer Johin, the Empire came down hard on the natives[1] due to suspected Rebel activity,[2] as the planet was rumored to have been a base for the Alliance to Restore the Republic.[1] When it could not catch them outright,[2] a combination of the "DeathWhispers" storm commando unit, their ZQ Infantry Support Units, and regular line troops[1] wiped out Hyrol Preen Beta' settlements in order to prevent the Rebels from returning.[2]
