This New Republic task force was charged with the liberation of the planet Brentaal IV in 4 ABY. Commanded by Admiral Gial Ackbar, the task force consisted of the Mon Calamari Star Cruiser Independence, at least one Kuat Drive Yards EF76 Nebulon-B escort frigate, several Gallofree Yards, Inc. GR-75 medium transports, and several Bantha-class assault shuttles. Starfighter support included Rogue Squadron and Aggressor Wing.
