The Mission in the Belassar system occurred during the Galactic Civil War, when the Galactic Empire intended to the suppress Rebel Alliance activity in the system.[1] Princess Leia Organa of Alderaan undertook a mission in the Belassar system during the struggle, along with pilot Jon "Dutch" Vander.[2] The princess transmitted messages, dispensed much-needed material, and brought time for the Rebel evacuation.[1]
