The Korfani were a sapient species native to the Korfanus system.[1] The poet Adranax was a Korfani.[2]

(screenshot) Jason Fry, co-author of The Essential Atlas, stated his intention to create homeworlds for numerous species based on context implied from their names. Korfanus appears to be one such case.
