Kamarian Badlander

Kamarian Badlanders were natives of the planet of Kamar who lived in equatorial desert regions called the Kamar Badlands.

Standing only about 1.1 to 1.4 meters in height, they were smaller than other Kamarians, and had lighter chitin. They were, however, hardier and able to survive even longer without water, and they adapted to even higher temperatures. Badlanders were also more primitive technologically and culturally, using only simple tools and armed only with spears.

In 2 BBY, a group of Badlanders, who had a great reverence for water, developed the Cult of Varn around a holovid shown to them by Han Solo.
