The Healer's Guild was a mysterious organization from the days of the Galactic Republic that composed of healers from planets and species across the galaxy. The Guild used the spice carsunum to control and prevent the proliferation of hive viruses, including the hive virus that infected the crew of the Katana fleet. The Guild disappeared with the emergence of the Galactic Empire.[1]
