Carsunum/Legends

Carsunum, also known as black spice, was a rare and highly illegal spice variant mined on Sevarcos II. It was hard to find, usually located deep within mines under layers of solid rock. Use of carsunum granted a boost of both mental and physical abilities as well as a pleasurable sense of well-being; however, once the spice hit ended, side effects could vary from jitters to death.

The mysterious Healer's Guild used carsunum to control and prevent the proliferation of hive viruses like the one that infected the crew of the Katana fleet.
