"Bak! It's a… Blast him, moron! The frammin' Crotok's got a…"
―Druug's last words[1]

Druug was a male individual who worked as a pirate and owned the starship Profit. During his career as a pirate he worked with the starship Pillage, owned by fellow pirate Larken, and another pirate vessel named Trust Me, in an attempt to capture the Helix–class light interceptor, Kizbon's Box based on a tip from a female named Sahr. The three vessels waited near the space station, Darknon Station, under the cover of a magnetic storm in order to ambush their target, who they believed to be unarmed. When the Box arrived the three ships moved into attack it, but much to Druug's horror they soon discovered their mark was not quite as harmless as they'd been led to believe, secretly possessing armaments including proton torpedos. The Box used the torpedo's to destroy the Trust Me while Druug cursed at Larken over the comm, however before the pirate could finish what he was saying the Profit also came under fire, killing Druug.

Behind the scenes

Druug first appeared in 1995 the article "A Buyer's Guide to Alternative Starships" which was published in the fifth issue of the Star Wars Adventure Journal series of supplement books for West End Games, Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game. The article was written by Stephen Luminati and included two short stories to illustrate some of the ships mentioned. Druug appeared in one of these, titled "Kizbon's Box" which gave no information as to what era it was set in.
