Chrellis system

The Chrellis system was located in the Lahara sector, a part of the New Territories portion of the Outer Rim Territories. It contained the tiny planetoid Chrellis and at least one asteroid. At some point, in what became a notorious incident, a team of G2 repair droids stole a fueling freighter and established their own community on the Chrellis system's asteroid.

Following the foundation of the Rebel Alliance in 2 BBY, the first base of the Alliance High Command was established on the planetoid under the command of the Human General Jan Dodonna. When the Galactic Empire reallocated its sector fleets, the base on Chrellis became uncomfortably close to Imperial Navy activity and was moved to the Tion Cluster planet Brigia.

Behind the scenes

The Chrellis system was first mentioned in The Rebel Alliance Sourcebook, which was authored by Paul Murphy and published in 1990 for use with West End Games's Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game. The 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas placed it in grid square M-5.
