The Chiss Warriors, also known as Chiss Troopers or Chiss Soldiers were the Armed Forces within the Chiss Ascendancy. Their primary purpose was to serve as security, the Ascendancy's primary military force and enforcing the borders of Chiss territories. With the formation of the Galactic Empire, the Chiss soldiers of Thrawn;s household guard eventually defected to Empire of the Hand underneath the command of Grand Admiral Thrawn, who was a Chiss exiled from his kind.

Chiss soldiers were equipped with maser-blaster rifles, and thermal detonators. They were transported from armored carriers. They also utilized advanced armored battle suits in battle.^[4]

They would notably see action during the Swarm War, where they would be deployed during the Battle of Tenupe.^[4]
