During the Galactic Civil War, a battle was fought over Derilyn. An Alliance force infiltrated Derilyn Space Defense Platform with a mission to destroy the Star Destroyer Brazen. During the mission, the Khuiumin Survivors, contacted by Alliance operative Shondra Del, arrived and assault the Imperial forces, aiding in the Alliance team's escape. The Brazen was destroyed by bombs planted by the Alliance team, which also caused extensive damage to the Derilyn Space Defense Platform.^[1]
