30th Anniversary Bash
30th Anniversary Bash was the name of a painting available in the galaxy sometime after the Battle of Yavin during the Galactic Civil War. It depicted the Max Rebo Band performing at Jabba's Palace on the planet Tatooine. The text, written in the Galactic Basic Standard alphabet known as Aurebesh, spelled out "uhl eharl." The painting was given to a spacer who attended Nym's Anniversary Bash at his base on the planet Lok.
Description
The painting 30th Anniversary Bash was rectangular and came with a yellow frame.[1] The foreground depicted the Ortolan musician Max Rebo and members of his band—specifically the Pa'lowick singer Sy Snootles and the Kitonak chidinkalu flute player Droopy McCool—performing at Jabba the Hutt's Palace on the planet Tatooine.[2] Several multi-colored stage lights were shown illuminating the band's performance.[1] Within the background were Salacious B. Crumb, Jabba's Kowakian monkey-lizard court jester,[3] in addition to one of Jabba's guards. Aurebesh text, the Galactic Basic Standard alphabet, across the upper right corner spelled out "uhl eharl."[1]
History
30th Anniversary Bash became available sometime after the Battle of Yavin, which took place during the Galactic Civil War between the Galactic Empire and the Alliance to Restore the Republic.[1]
A spacer received it from Nym, a Feeorin pirate, through his quartermaster when the sentient attended Nym's Anniversary Bash at Nym's Base on the planet Lok.[1]
Behind the scenes

30th Anniversary Bash was a painting that appeared in the 2003 massively multiplayer online roleplaying video game Star Wars Galaxies. Players could use it as decoration for their house. It was added to the game as part of the Chapter 6: Masters of the Wild game update[1] on May 22, 2007[4] and was given out to players who attended Nym's Anniversary Bash. The anniversary bash and the painting were meant to celebrate the thirtieth anniversary of the release of Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope in theaters in 1977.[1]
The image used for the painting is largely similar to a piece of concept art for the Max Rebo band done by conceptual designer Ralph McQuarrie during the development of Return of the Jedi.[5] The Aurebesh lettering, spelling out "uhl eharl," resembles the name of Uhl Eharl Khoehng, a story that appeared in Star Wars Adventure Journal 8.[6] Another painting from the game, Party Poster, makes a similar reference.[1]
