Beme
Beme was a male captain and recruiter for the Rebel Alliance during the Galactic Civil War.[1]
Part of an Alliance team accompanying Mon Mothma to the planet of Agamar in 1 BBY, Captain Beme encountered Agamar Resistance member Keyan Farlander, who hoped to join the Rebel Alliance and enroll in the Alliance Starfighter Corps. Beme doubted Farlander's suitability as a pilot, offering him positions in maintenance, Logistics, or Intelligence, before eventually admitting the young rebel to the Alliance's Starfighter Training Program on the condition that Farlander would shoot down a TIE fighter for him. Wishing him good luck and advising him not to be killed on his first mission, Beme instated Farlander as a flight cadet aboard the MC80 Home One type Star Cruiser Independence.[1]
