The title of this article is conjectural.

Although this article is based on official information from the Star Wars Legends continuity, the actual name of this subject is pure conjecture.

"What's the matter? You guys want to live forever? Move it out!"
―The sergeant[1]

A sergeant fought for the Alliance to Restore the Republic during the Galactic Civil War. The historian Arhul Hextrophon prefaced a section in the ground combat chapter of his report entitled "Report on Growth, Organization, Equipment, Activities, and Objectives of the Rebellion" by quoting the sergeant calling a Rebel group to arms.[1]

Behind the scenes

The unidentified Rebel sergeant was mentioned in the The Rebel Alliance Sourcebook, written by Paul Murphy in 1990 and revised in 1994 by Peter Schweighofer.[1]

During World War I, United States Sergeant Major Daniel Daly famously was purported to have shouted, "Do you want to live forever?" to his men at the Battle of Belleau Wood.[2]
