This male commander was in charge of the Starship Musica during its voyage to Kashyyyk. A female arrival, however, proceeded to seduce him. When C-3PO and R2-D2 witnessed this, they became suspicious of her actions to the commander, and tried to get the commander to report to Luke Skywalker what had occurred, although the commander dismissed them, citing that the pair, being Droids, simply did not know what occurs between a man and a woman.^[1]

The Rebel commander was a planned character in the early story treatment for The Star Wars Holiday Special.^[1]
