This article covers a subject that was cut from the final version of a Star Wars Legends source. The subject appeared in no other source and was therefore considered non-canon within the Legends continuity.

Musica was a starship owned by the Rebel Alliance that was headed towards Kashyyyk to recruit more people to the Rebel cause. The Empire, however, was tracking the ship, with their also dispatching a saboteur to the Musica. The commander ended up seduced by the saboteur, although R2-D2 and C-3PO are suspicious and, after failing to get the commander to report the incident to Luke Skywalker, they presumably notify him themselves, with Luke warning Chewbacca and the others about what he had just discovered. Ultimately, the ship was indeed sabotaged, although Chewbacca managed to safely land the ship.[1]

Behind the scenes

The Starship Musica was a ship that was present in an early treatment to The Star Wars Holiday Special. However, it ended up cut from the final version.[1]
