The title of this article is conjectural.

Although this article is based on canonical information, the actual name of this subject is pure conjecture.

This extinct species was native to the planet Forntay. The natives once defeated a group of oppressors in an uprising, according to an ancient text translated by Emiel Skoff.

Behind the scenes

Forntay was first mentioned in a quote in the first edition of Galaxy Guide 6: Tramp Freighters as "Fortnay". The spelling was adjusted to "Forntay" in the second edition. Originally The Essential Atlas Online Companion included an entry for both; however, a 2015 update of the Companion confirmed that Forntay is the correct canonical spelling.
