Sound slug machine
A sound slug machine was a device used for playing music. They contained sound slugs and mini-holovids that could be selected by individuals to play, usually after credits were inserted into a slot. Reuther's Wetdock on Najiba had a dilapidated sound slug machine installed. Every year, Captain Thaddeus Ross would play "Laughter After Dark" performed by Saahir Ru'luv, a drink a bottle of t'ssolok to her memory.[1]
