T'ssolok

T'ssolok was an intensely alcoholic Twi'lek liquor. Possessed of a creamy coloration and imbued with optional food additives during its creation, the standing flavor of t'ssolok was widely considered to be disappointing, though the beverage made up for such shortcomings with a delicious aftertaste. T'ssolok was traditionally served in a decorative decanter, and was thought to increase the effectiveness of any enhancers the drinker additionally consumed.[1]
During the reign of the Galactic Empire, the former Najib bounty hunter known as Reuther would order a shipment of t'ssolok once a year, that he served at his cantina on Najiba, Reuther's Wetdock. Whenever his associate, Thaddeus Ross, stopped over at the nearby spaceport, Reuther and Ross would typically talk at the cantina over a shared bottle of t'ssolok.[2]
Behind the scenes
T'ssolok was first introduced to the Star Wars universe in the short story Laughter After Dark, written by author Patricia A. Jackson, and published as part of the fifteenth issue of West End Games' Star Wars Adventure Journal in November 1997.[2] It later appeared in the Star Wars Galaxies MMORPG, where it was visually depicted for the first time.[1]
