2PO-series protocol droid
The 2PO-series protocol droid was a model of protocol droids produced by Cybot Galactica. The 2PO-series was succeeded by the popular 3PO-series protocol droid.
Melnea Arnthout owned a 2PO-series droid on Tatooine, 2PO, which served as an ambassador between colonists and the native Jawas, using its translation protocols to translate Basic into Jawaese.
FA-2PO was a 2PO-series droid belonging to Jawas.[1]
