2PO

2PO was a protocol droid in the employ of Melnea Arnthout, leader of a group of colonists to Tatooine. He was kidnapped by Jawas after only one season on the planet. During his time with the Jawas he learned their language, and after Melnea rescued him he was instrumental in opening negotiations between the colonists and the Jawas.
