History
Winter was the New Republic case officer assigned to the planet of Cilpar in 4 ABY. Her duties included supplying the local resistance group with weapons and vehicles, and coordinating them with New Republic forces such as Rogue Squadron.

The title of case officer as presented in-universe is very similar to that of the Central Intelligence Agency and other real-world intelligence networks.
