Mineral Assets Partnership was a large mining corporation. Several hundred years before the Galactic Civil War, Mineral Assets Partnership underwrote a mining colony on the planet Karra due to the report of large amounts of varmigio present on the world. Trace elements of varmigio were required for hyperdrive cores. The reports were soon proven to be incorrect, and Mineral Assets Partnership withdrew their support for the colony which perished soon after.
