The Imperial hovertrain was a sleek model of hovertrain used by the Galactic Empire on Aridus.
Characteristics
A hovertrain could carry artillery guns on specialized carriages to defend its crew and cargo. The hover-trains were connected to the automated Iron Tower and would be rendered useless if it was destroyed or disabled.
History
While Luke Skywalker and C-3PO were delivering weapons to the Chubbit rebel faction on Aridus, they discovered an on-going battle between a hover-train and an army of Chubbits. Throwing bags of proton charges they brought for the Chubbits, they successfully blew up the train.
