Proton charge

A proton charge was an explosive device capable of significant destructive power. It could be fitted to the Spiral-class Assault Ship. It detonated upon the ship's impact on a target, disrupting the deflector shields long enough for the Spiral to penetrate and bury itself in the target's hull.
