The GoCorp repulsor plant[1] was a remote manufacturing plant[2] that produced repulsorcrafts. GoCorp employed the EV-series supervisor droid EV-9D9 to supervise[3] the plant's droid workforce[4] for a stint[5] in the year 1 ABY.[6] Unfotunately for its dozens of worker droids, the corporation appreciated and encouraged the supervisor droid's derangement. Under her supervison, the laborers were unbelievably overworked and had a high attrition rate, but production was well beyond what droids were normally able to accomplish. While the Hutt crime lord Jabba Desilijic Tiure was commissioning several sand skiffs at the GoCorp repulsor plant,[3] a few of his[2] agents discovered EV-9D9 supervising the plant. Impressed by her ability to drive droids far beyond their capacities,[3] the henchmen[2] bought the supervisor droid and put her to work in Jabba's Palace on the planet Tatooine.[3]

The GoCorp repulsor plant was first mentioned in Galaxy Guide 5: Return of the Jedi, a 1990 Star Wars Legends reference book written by Michael Stern.[3]

In addition, EV-9D9 was in the employ of Jabba Desilijic Tiure during the events of Star Wars Galaxies, which also dates itself to a year after the Battle of Yavin, or 1 ABY. As The New Essential Guide to Droids places EV-9D9's employment at GoCorp between her tenure as security chief of Cloud City and chief of Cyborg Operations in Jabba's Palace, it can be determined that she worked at the GoCorp repulsor plant in 1 ABY.
