A factory was an industrial site containing several buildings and power plants in the galaxy. They came in a variety of functions, including civilian products and vehicles, as well as developing several military weapons and small-scale starfighters.
Weapons factories included the Geonosis droid foundries, the Geonosis primary droid foundry, the CIS Weapons Factory, the Hypori droid factory, Imperial Robotics Construction Facility Ice Station Beta, the Incom Factory, the Olanet droid factory, as well as the TIE Fighter Construction Facility.
