Durese, also called Durosian, was the native language of the Duros.[1]

Since the Duros were such prominent spacers and traders, Durese became a common interstellar tongue. It was an influence for Basic,[2] and most Duros were fluent in both languages.[1] Most likely, it was also the root language of Pak Pak. The Durese Writing system was a syllabary.
