Diviner
Diviner was the name for a squad of viper probe droids that were in the service of the Galactic Empire during the year 3 ABY.
History
Diviner was stationed aboard the Cerebus. After the Imperial victory over the Rebel Alliance in the Battle of Hoth in 3 ABY, Admiral Holtz was assigned to destroy the Defiance Task Force, the Rebel fleet tasked with escorting the survivors of Hoth to safety. Holtz planned to do this by deploying viper probe droids across the galaxy to track down this force. Diviner was one of the probe squadrons assigned to this task.
Diviner was deployed by the Corrupter Task Force in 3 ABY when that fleet was attacked by a pair of A-wings launched by the Mon Calamari Star Cruiser Defiance. One of the pilots was Ace Azzameen, who succeeded in destroying all of Diviner.
