Damorian Manufacturing Corporation was a small starship company based on the planet Esseles, on the edge of the Core Worlds region of the galaxy.^[source?] Damorian's main claim to fame was the Carrack-class light cruiser, which has proven more successful as a marketing tool than a means of securing military contracts. Damorian also had well-performing freighter, bulk transport, and starfighter lines.^[1]
