D'rag
- "More people we owed money to."
- ―Han Solo, to Voren Na'al, regarding Vinda and D'rag
D'rag was a starshipwright and the co-owner of Starshipwrights and Aerospace Engineers Incorporated along with their partner Vinda on the planet Oslumpex V. In 2 BBY, Corellian smuggler Han Solo owed them 2,500 credits for their work on his starship, the Millennium Falcon. Taking advantage of this knowledge, the Corporate Sector Authority executive Odumin—posing as a skip tracer called "Spray," looking to repossess the vessel for D'rag and Vinda—got close to Solo and his Wookiee partner Chewbacca in his investigation of a slaving ring in the Corporate Sector.[1]
Behind the scenes
D'rag was first mentioned in Han Solo's Revenge, a novel written by Brian Daley and released in 1979.[1]
