The following events took place in 17 BBY.
Events
- King Lorac and Queen Denira of Velmor were killed in a plot to place Imperial-backed Prince Anod on the throne. The failure to kill and subsequent escape of crown-Prince Denid leaves Lord Regent Zelor as head of government.[6]
- Navik the Red of the Chattza Clan became ruler of Rodia and instituted a vicious purge of the rival Tetsu Clan. Many were killed, including Greedo the Elder.[7]
- Skee and his family fled to a jungle planet during the Rodian Clan Wars.[8][9]
- Missiles destroyed the royal palace on M'haeli, creating a power vacuum that lead to Imperial occupation.[10]
- The Summit Class graduated at the Galactic Outdoor Survival School, breaking any previous record.[11]
- The Clone Trooper CT-5539 leaves the desert moon to join Darth Vader's forces in the Galactic Empire.[12]
- Thrackan Sal-Solo takes a job in the Imperial government of Corellia.[13]
- BIX and Gee Long win the Drainsweeper relay race event at the Roon Colonial Games for the second consecutive year.[14]

Since the difference between that calendar and the Galactic Standard Calendar—based on the date of the Battle of Yavin—was 3,653 years per the reasoning here, the Tho Yor Arrival must have taken place in the year 36,453 BBY of the latter dating system. Therefore, the difference between the Galactic Standard Calendar and the dating system based on the Tho Yor Arrival that is featured in Dawn of the Jedi: Into the Void must be 36,453 years.
