Kayson was a male alien who ran Kayson's Weapons Shop in Mos Eisley on the planet Tatooine. He had a sour disposition and atrocious manners. He was a hulking ape-like humanoid with short fur, four nostrils, and an optical enhancer worn over his left eye.
Decades ago, the entrepreneur Meysen Kayson found Kayson as an abandoned child in Mos Eisley on Tatooine. Meysen Kayson raised the child and taught him about his previous profession, that of a gun runner. When the child eventually matured, he took Kayson's name as his own.[2]
