Breaking Free: The Adventures of Dannen Lifehold

Breaking Free: The Adventures of Dannen Lifehold is a short story by Dave Marron, which is set in the Rise of the Empire era before the destruction of Alderaan. It was published in Star Wars Adventure Journal 1 by West End Games in February 1994.

Plot summary

The smuggler Dannen Lifehold has one last job before he can pay off his debt to the loan shark Linkaas. Linkaas sends two of his goons, Bakk and Chokk, to kill him before he can complete it. Along the way, Lifehold meets the Tinnell Purr, a genius mechanic.
