Alliance Cold Weather Backpack was a specialized backpack issued to the members of Alliance Special Forces during assignments in extremely frigid climates like Hoth as part of their cold-weather outfit. Its main and only purpose was to help protect the wearer from hypothermia and the equipment it contained from freezing. It also contained survival gear such as a small heater and shelter.
